MASJID AL-FATTAH, TASIKMALAYA

Al-Fattah Mosque is the main mosque of the Indonesian Idrisiyyah Congregation which has been established since 1932. Besides being used for Muslim worship activities, the Al-Fattah Mosque is the center of other Islamic movements with the establishment of Islamic Education, Islamic Economics and Social Society institutions which form one part intact with the existence of the mosque.

The mosque, located in Cisayong Tasikmalaya, has been renovated several times, along with the capacity of the mosque which is no longer able to accommodate pilgrims. Then on January 12, 2014 the construction of the Al-Fattah Mosque was recently initiated by the Murshid of the Idrisiyyah Tariq Sheikh Sheikh Akbar Muhammad Fathurahman M.Ag. A new mosque that can accommodate more than 5000 worshipers for national and international events.

Mosque architecture combines the architectural styles of the 3 main mosques of the Islamic world (Masjid Al-Haram, Nabawi and Aqsa) and local architectural wisdom. The main building of the mosque is decorated by a large dome typical of the Aqsa Mosque, Palestine. The minarets follow the style of the Al-Haram Mosque, Mecca. And in the front decoration of the mosque and pulpit, carved patterns of Padjajaran made of teak wood add to the beauty of the Al-Fattah Mosque.

The facilities and capacity of the mosque are always being developed and improved to support every Islamic activity as the glorious mosque vision "The realization of the Al-Fattah Mosque as the center of the vanguard movement grounded the minutes of Al-Islamiyah as a mercy to the universe and the center of advanced Islamic civilization".
